John Travolta’s house is a reflection of the actor’s passions and interests, particularly his love for aviation in more ways than one.

It’s a midcentury-style mansion, designed by Michael James Design Team, located on the private-use airport Jumbolair Aviation Estates. It was originally developed by Arthur Jones, the inventor of Nautilus exercise equipment. The entire estate was planned over a period of six years, and the construction of the took two years to complete.

The Travoltas, John and his late wife Kelly Preston, were the first to buy lots in the residential neighborhood, Jumbolair.

John’s home includes a spacious 16-car garage, a 3,600 ft runway, and an 8,700 sq ft conference center. In addition, the estate has 17 unsold lots with runway access. The Travolta’s Florida estate has two runways, one of which leads directly to the main door.

This was intentionally done so he could step out his front door and travel anywhere in the world.

The home was designed with his jets in mind. Travolta keeps his personal Qantas Boeing 707 at his Florida home, as well as a Challenger jet that is parked in his backyard.

It’s clear that John Travolta is a savvy investor, owning several properties in addition to his Florida mansion. However, his home at Jumbolair Aviation Estates is a testament to his passion for flying and love for the lifestyle it offers. The estate offers a unique blend of luxury and functionality, making it the perfect place for he and his family to call home.
