It all started
In 1993, fresh out of high school and with stars in my eyes, I began my journey to become a commercial airline pilot. I was determined to ‘live the dream,’ as they say, and set my sights on the sky.
Little did I know, however, that the reality of being a pilot was far different from what I had imagined. While it’s a thrilling and rewarding profession, it’s also one that requires a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication.
From countless hours of training to meticulous attention to detail, there’s no denying the weight of the responsibilities that come with being a pilot. But for me, it was all worth it.
I fell in love with the skies and everything that came with it – the challenges, the triumphs, and the incredible views from above.
Though it may not always be the most glamorous job, being a pilot is undoubtedly one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done.
Then came retirement
After a long and fulfilling career as a pilot, I’ve finally reached retirement and decided it’s time to share my wealth of experience and knowledge with the world. Over the years, I’ve interacted with countless passengers and crew members, each with their own unique stories and perspectives.
I’ve been witness to the highs and lows of air travel, from the excitement of first-time flyers to the frustrations of delayed flights and lost luggage. But through it all, I’ve gained an immense appreciation for the beauty of travel and the wonder of flight.
That’s why I’ve created this website
I created it to share my insights, tips, and advice with anyone who loves to explore the world. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or a first-timer, I hope you find something useful here that will enhance your flying experience and make your journey all the more memorable.

From packing hacks to seat selection strategies, I’ve got you covered.
But air travel isn’t just about logistics – And travel in general does many different things for people. I will also share a number of ideas that may or may not be travel related here too.
Of course, the main focus is answering your questions and tips and interesting facts and stories about planes and airports.
