Yes, Family Dollar has registers that take Apple Pay. In fact, you can pay with Apple or Google Pay, Mastercard, or Visa. They Don’t take American Express

And check this out…

5 Reasons you may want to use Apple Pay at Family Dollar

Simplicity

With Apple Pay, like Google Pay, there’s no need to carry cash or cards around. It’s brilliant. You only need your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch to make payments.

Security

It has Touch ID or Face ID to confirm payments, so only you can authorize a purchase. And your card number and personal information is never shared with the merchant, keeping your personal data secure.

Speed

Transactions are fast, so you can quickly and easily move through the shopping line.

Everyone Takes It

Apple Pay is accepted both online and in-stores at practically every place you shop.

I like shopping at Family Dollar stores because

  • I get some great products at great prices.
  • There is one close to my house and close to the store I typically shop at.
  • I save time as well as money because of the variety of items they have. (groceries, household items, clothing, and seasonal goods)

Now I just need to remember to go there and get what they have on my list BEFORE going to the big box stores. That is the part I constantly forget to do.

Family Dollar Stores

I just did a little research and found out Family Dollar was started in 1959 and is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.

It has over 8,000 operating stores in all states except Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington.

Apply Pay

We all know what Apple Pay is, but did you know it allows users to pay via a technology called near-field communication (NFC) to enable contactless payments? It also uses tokenization to protect card information and ensure secure transactions. Additionally, Apple Pay Cash allows users to send and receive money through iMessage.

I’m sure you knew that. I didn’t. I’m an Android guy and don’t have my Google Pay set up just yet.

The Apple Pay mobile payment system is available on iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and Mac computers. Additionally, the system works with Apple’s HomePod smart speaker and CarPlay in-car entertainment systems.
